Durante todo el mes de febrero, se intensifican las acciones de prevenci\u00f3n y detecci\u00f3n temprana de los s\u00edntomas del c\u00e1ncer en ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hoy iluminamos el coraz\u00f3n de nuestra identidad, la Pir\u00e1mide de El Pueblito, lo hacemos con un mensaje de esperanza y de fortaleza, porque al igual que la Pir\u00e1mide resisti\u00f3 el paso del tiempo y las adversidades para seguir de pie, las ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os que luchan contra el c\u00e1ncer desaf\u00edan la enfermedad para seguir contando su historia, ambos nos ense\u00f1an una verdad poderosa: la resiliencia y la esperanza de que pueden ser m\u00e1s fuertes que cualquier obst\u00e1culo&#8221;, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>En el estado de Quer\u00e9taro, el Hospital de Especialidades del Ni\u00f1o y la Mujer \u201cFelipe N\u00fa\u00f1ez Lara\u201d ofrece atenci\u00f3n y tratamiento especializado a ni\u00f1os y adolescentes diagnosticados con c\u00e1ncer, a trav\u00e9s de un equipo multidisciplinario. Entre los tipos de c\u00e1ncer m\u00e1s comunes se encuentran la leucemia linfobl\u00e1stica, que afecta a m\u00e1s del 50% de los pacientes, seguida de los tumores cerebrales y los linfomas.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, siete pacientes originarios del municipio de Corregidora se encuentran en control y tratamiento, mientras que tres ni\u00f1os de la misma localidad han sido dados de alta por curaci\u00f3n, tras cumplir con un per\u00edodo de vigilancia de hasta 10 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El D\u00eda Mundial de la Lucha contra el C\u00e1ncer Infantil fue establecido en 2002 por la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional de C\u00e1ncer Infantil (CCI, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).
